HI, I'M CATHERINE.

THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE.

I'M A WIFE AND MAMA TO FOUR—ONE IN HEAVEN AND THREE HERE ON EARTH. BEFORE MEETING MY HUSBAND, I NEVER IMAGINED I'D GET MARRIED OR HAVE CHILDREN, BUT THEY COMPLETELY CHANGED MY LIFE FOR THE BETTER.

I ALSO NEVER THOUGHT I'D BE BAKING, YET ONE OF MY GOALS THIS YEAR WAS TO LEARN SOURDOUGH, AND IT'S BEEN SUCH A REWARDING JOURNEY. ANOTHER GOAL WAS TO START HOMESTEADING RIGHT WHERE WE ARE, AND WE'RE DOING JUST THAT—-PLANTING VEGETABLES, LEARNING AS WE GO, AND ENJOYING EVERY STEP OF THE PROCESS.

When choosing a new name for the stand, I had to think deeply about my heart—my desires, hopes, dreams, and the things that mean more to me now than they ever have before.

I couldn't have a stand named after my boutique. It would have felt completely irrelevant to this new season of life.

So I chose Fields & Cottage.

With three little ones under three, nap time has often been an adventure. There were days I'd spend hours driving just to help them fall asleep. My favorite drive was always between Eugene and Halsey, Oregon. I explored happily, all those roads along that stretch that I never grew tired of it. Instead, I found myself in awe of God's beautiful creation each time.

I watched the fields change with every season, and far off on the horizon there was always a little house—someone's home. Ever since I was a little girl, I've dreamed of living in a cozy cottage, surrounded by open fields. It was one of those quiet dreams I rarely shared with anyone.

Now, as I step into this new chapter with my babies and continue growing each day, I wanted a name that truly reflects this season of life.

Will it stay this way forever? I'm not sure. Those who have followed my journey know that change has always been part of my story.

So, whether you've been here from the beginning or you're just finding me now—welcome.

and why: peace, grace, growth?
